Welcome to the Getting Started guide. This guide will walk you through the essential steps to begin. The process is divided into two main phases: Develop and Optimize.
Overview​
- Develop Phase: Create your initial generation flow
- Optimize Phase: Refine and improve your generation flow
Generation flow is a structured sequence of Prompt Book and Knowledge Book that aims to solve a specific problem. It typically includes:
- At least one Prompt Book: This is a core element that contains the prompts and instructions for the AI model.
- Optionally, one or more Knowledge Books: These provide additional context or information to enhance the generation process.
- A series of nodes: These control the flow of data and the generation process, each with its own parameters and settings.

Develop Phase​
In the Develop phase, you'll create your first generation flow. This involves:
- Creating a new generation flow
- Setting up the
Start Node - Creating a
Prompt Book - Optionally creating a
Knowledge Book - Setting up the
End Node - Testing your flow in the
Playground
The Develop phase is where you lay the foundation for your AI application. You'll define inputs, create prompts, and set up your initial workflow.
Optimize Phase​
After developing your initial flow, you'll move to the Optimize phase. Here, you'll:
- Generate input datasets
- Create evaluation metrics
- Evaluate your current generation flow
- Review AI-suggested alternative plans
- Compare and choose the best-performing plan
The Optimize phase is crucial for refining your generation flow and ensuring it performs optimally for your specific use case.
Getting Started​
